As long as a Senior has money - they have options.  Advance planning increases the probability that your parent will never run out of money and therefore, never run out of options.    Our mission is to preserve and protect as many options as possible for our senior clients.   If a client comes in BEFORE something bad happens (Pre-Crisis Planning) more estate planning type of work is done.  If the family of a client comes in AFTER something bad happens (Crisis Planning) they the legal focus is on asset preservation, planning for incapacity and life care planning. This is an area of concern to many Seniors.  With NO planning, your estate can be wiped out in the event of a long term care stay.  Obviously a Senior has many more options if they plan in advance.  However, some things can often be done even at "the last minute".  If you find yourself or a loved one in a position where you need professional help in this area, give us a call.
